Leroy the Masochist NEIPA and Keg Hunter pale ale can release

Point Pleasant Beach: Nick from Last Wave sent us over their upcoming release information. Here’s what we know.

Wanted to let you know we’re releasing two cans on Thursday, August 22, that we’ve never canned before. One is our popular Northeast style IPA, Leroy the Masochist, a big fruity double IPA that comes in at 8.2% with tropical stone fruit notes. Named after our favorite character from the cult classic surf movie Big Wednesday.

The other beer is brand new. It’s a collaboration with the winning surfer from our first ever Keg Hunter surf contest, an all-NJ online video submission surf contest. www.njkeghunter.com for more info. It’s a hazy fruited pale ale with with guava, orange peel, lactose and vanilla added that comes in at 5.5%. Both beers will be available in cans in the tasting room and at liquor stores across Monmouth, Ocean, and Mercer County.
