No, we haven’t had too much Devil’s Reach. We’re just excited because May the Fourth is coming up — Star Wars Day!
Our beautiful, bearded beer nerds wanted to celebrate Star Wars day in true CMBC fashion, with pomp and parade, with shows, sports, bells, bonfires, illuminations, and speeches by lauded Star Wars experts. None of that is going to happen — lets face it, bonfires at an airport can get tricky — but we’ve got a great day on tap, anyway.
Since it falls on a Wednesday, we couldn’t resist marking the occasion with a one-off. Actually, make that TWO one-offs. We’ve made two special sixtels of our Misty Dawn: one infused with blue raspberries, one with cherries. We’ve got the blue raspberries for the light side and cherries representing the dark side. So are you Obi Wan or Vader? Jedi or Sith? You’ll want to make that decision after tasting both of them, obviously. Or you could walk the middle line by layering them one on top of the other. Either way, you’ll find the choice more difficult than Luke’s.
Wear your best Star Wars costume and receive a discount on tastings. Come dressed as your favorite character and get a dollar off — a $5 tasting for $4. Break out your Luke or Leia and save. Chewies will receive our undying love and devotion, because we all know that it’s not wise to upset a wookie.
We’ve also got some sweet Yoda Soda waiting for you. Infused with limes, honeydew, kiwi, spinach, pineapple and mango, you’ll want to give this one a try between the one-offs. Or, should we say, you’ll want to give this one a do. Because, you know… Do. Or do not. There is no try.
In addition, we’ve got a Star Wars Pandora station all cued up (so you’ll get to hear some of that beautiful cantina music! You know you love it….) and you’ll be able to make your own mini glowstick lightsabers. We’ll have masks and props and lightsabers set up for our photobooth, and we’ll have crayons and pages to color sitting at the bar. It’ll be a great day!
