This week’s Microbrew Monday selections are two delicious, oaked beers from Innis & Gunn, one of our favorite Scottish breweries. Stop into any of our three locations this Monday, October 24th from 5-7PM to taste these craft beers.
Innis & Gunn Original- The luxurious malt and toffee gives way to mellow oak with vanilla overtones. Balanced by the orange peel citrus character, this brew finishes with floral notes, soothing oak with vanilla and a touch of lemon zest.
Innis & Gunn Rum Cask- The Rum Cask is surprisingly light in texture with soft fruits and malt that fill the palate all balanced by a lively spiciness. A mellow oak background emerges with time and the spice fades to a pleasant malty sweetness.
