Job Description
City Brew Tours is the leading curator of craft brewery tours in North America. Our team delivers unforgettable experiences to over 25,000 beer-curious people each year. Founded in New England, our tours are now offered in 11 different cities across North America.
We are seeking responsible, charismatic, high-energy, and witty Beer Guides for part-time work! As a Beer Guide, you would be responsible for leading educational beer experiences on our all-inclusive brewery tours. Beer Guides are responsible for entertaining groups of beer enthusiasts by sharing their knowledge and passion for beer. Guides can work a variety of shifts that can range from 2 to 6+ hours. Beer Guides report to the Tour Operations Coordinator.

You aren’t intimidated by a fast paced, constantly changing work environment. You are curious and excited to learn. You take constructive criticism well. You don’t have an issue speaking up if you have found a better way to do something or you want to pursue a new opportunity. You love the culture, history, and excitement of the craft beer industry.
Responsibilities / Requirements:
Lead all-inclusive, educational brewery tours
Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to comfortably navigate city roads in a 15 passenger vehicle
Driver’s License
Clean Driving Record. No DUIs
Cicerone or BJCP Certifications are preferred but not required
Homebrewing or beer industry experience preferred but not required
Technical Requirements: Access to a computer with high-speed internet and HD webcam. Private space from which to lead Beer Events at Home.
Physical Requirements: You will be required to safely operate a motor vehicle. This includes the ability to sit for durations of up to 60 minutes at a time while driving. You may also need to sit for longer durations and look at a computer screen while working in your home office. You will be required to stand and walk for durations of at least 45 minutes at each tour stop and you will also need the mobility to pour beer from pitchers to glasses at various locations.
