Commercial Brewing Paid Intern
Job Description
We have opened the doors to our new round of applicants for The Open Waters internship program at Sloop Brewing Co.
Each quarter we’ll welcome one paid intern to learn the ins & outs of commercial brewing where they’ll be equipped with the technical knowledge & skills they need to succeed as a professional in our industry. Specifically designed to break down barriers that exist in entering this field, we encourage applications from all backgrounds & perspectives to join us in our mission to better diversify the craft beer experience.
Our interns of this successful first year have gone on to accept permanent job offers at several commercial breweries including Talea in NYC and Industrial Arts in the Hudson Valley.
We’re dedicated to bringing our interns a comprehensive, safe & encouraging learning environment to offer a stepping stone into craft brewing, brewery ownership & beyond. *Interns must be 21+ & able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during a 3-month period at our Hudson Valley facility. So far we have been able to work with our interns to balance the 20 hours to best fit their schedule.
