Delivery Cellarman for Alementary
Job Description
The Delivery Cellarman is a position in the production and packaging staff. This position is responsible for the delivery of product to customers, product service preparation in our tasting room, and providing back-of-house assistance to the Head Brewer. This position is highly collaborative and requires the ability to operate seamlessly and independently across all business concerns, from handling raw materials to interacting directly with customers and guests. The person filling this position must be a detail-oriented, beer-obsessed self-starter who has the ability to be introspective and critical of his/her own work. This position has high growth potential for the right candidate.
SPECIFIC DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Deliver of product to customers, ensuring that each customer on the route receives the correct product in a timely and courteous fashion
• Participate in the manufacture of products from the brewhouse floor, aiding in cleaning, tank prep, and post-processing activities to maintain a spotless, world-class brewing facility that outputs the highest quality beer
• Participate in the packaging of products, including kegging, bottling, and canning, gaining expertise in the operations of each component
• Performing the daily lab QC analyses and logging of the data in Orchestrated Beer
• Handle the receiving of raw materials and the cataloging of raw material lot numbers and pulling lot analyses
• Participate in the management of finished products, ensuring that cold storage is constantly arranged in an efficient manner and that the taproom is equipped with the right beers according to the weekly tap list
• Participate in the maintenance of brewhouse equipment, gaining expertise and independence with operations and repair
REQUIREMENTS
• Ability and willingness to deadlift 165lbs
• Clean driving record
• High School Diploma, brewer experience a major plus
