Delivery Driver
Job Description
Carton Brewing Company is looking for a part-time Delivery Driver to add to our crew based in Atlantic Highlands, NJ.
This position is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of both draft and packaged beer to accounts throughout the state of New Jersey.
Responsibilities:
-Daily truck loading each morning based on the invoices assigned to your route, and double-checking load counts for accuracy to ensure correct delivery and maximized efficiency
-Safe and timely delivery to accounts
-Cold storage delivery at each account, with the signature of an authorized bar/restaurant employee for proof of delivery, and accurate calculation of final invoice amount based on keg credits and tap handle deposits
-Code date inspection and product rotation inspection at every account along daily routes to ensure optimal freshness and FIFO protocol is followed
-Check collection from accounts upon delivery as necessary
-Retrieval of all empty kegs and unused tap handles
-Constant communication with both direct supervisor and sales reps to raise issues regarding any impending or ongoing concerns with customers
-Properly securing both empty and full kegs in the truck to prevent damage to vehicle
-Operating the vehicle in a safe manner at all times
-Courteous and respectful to all accounts at all times
-Must be able to consistently lift, shift, maneuver up to 160 lbs up and down flights of stairs, through awkward and tight spaces, etc.
-Valid and clean drivers license
Successful candidates will also possess:
-Excellent time management and organizational skills
-Willing and able to work flexible hours
-Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
-Ability to work independently on most workdays
-Self-motivated with a high attention to detail
-Willing and able to assist with tasks outside of general job responsibilities Compensation based on experience. CDL beneficial but not required
Salary: $18/hour
