As a Liquor Sales Representative at 3BR Distillery, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling our unique range of spirits and liqueurs to bars, restaurants, liquor stores, and other retail outlets. The ideal candidate is a passionate and results-driven individual with a strong understanding of the beverage industry.

Job Description

We are looking for an advanced-level sales professional with experience selling business to business. We self-distribute some of our products to liquor stores, bars, and restaurants throughout New Jersey and are looking to hire a salesperson to help expand our brand in the surrounding area. We also work closely with a distributor for our core products for sales in both NY and NJ in which you would help introduce our spirits to new accounts. As a Sales Comrade at 3BR, you will utilize your knowledge of 3BR’s unique brand and versatile product portfolio to nurture existing client relationships and cultivate sales with new clients in surrounding territories. This role is responsible for implementing our self-distribution model to set up new off-premise customers. This person will create and maintain their client base by building long-term relationships with accounts and helping them succeed with selling our craft spirits. Essential Responsibilities/Duties

The Sales Comrade will manage both existing accounts and be responsible for prospecting new accounts. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and following your own sales routes, delivering products to clients at their locations, monitoring inventory at the given locations, and building brand loyalty while securing priority shelf positions. Scheduling and conducting tasting on and off-premise will be expected regularly.

3BR’s Sales Comrade will constantly stay informed on new products and provide a consultative sales approach, asking questions to best suit the needs of their business rather than simply placing orders.

Quoting customers and receiving and processing customer orders will be expected to be done promptly. All customer information should be recorded completely and organized.

Collaborating with the Marketing Department to ensure aesthetically pleasing advertisements and menu placements and arranging sponsored/private events will be essential.

Collaborate with Finance to ensure timely payments from customers, following up with customers as needed.

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts and distributors.
Conduct sales presentations to showcase our products and educate customers on their unique qualities.
Achieve and exceed sales targets by identifying new business opportunities.
Collaborate on propaganda to amplify the glory and awareness of our brand.
Provide excellent customer service and support to clients.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and market conditions.
Report regularly to the team on progress/account updates

Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities Required:

● Proven experience in liquor sales or a related field (3-5 years)
● Strong knowledge of the beverage industry and market trends.
● Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and distributors.
● US work authorization (Required)
● Customer Service experience (Preferred)
● Ability to cold call and upsell via phone, email and in-person
● Professional selling skills
● Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
● Proficient in the Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and other computer applications
● An insatiable thirst for learning and desire to know more about the distilling industry (Preferred)
● Occasionally lift up and transport up to 50 lbs
● Ability to travel independently
● Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and active auto insurance required
● Must embody the revolutionary spirit and adapt to the dynamic nature of our collective.
● Availability for evening and weekend events as needed

● Expert prioritization skills to ensure multiple tasks, projects and deadlines are completed on time
● Practice 100% compliance with all NJ State Liquor Authority laws and directives at all times
● Frequent travel is required through the territories.

● Base pay starting at $55-60k with opportunity for high commission-based pay (uncapped). Salary range is predicted salary with commission but take-home salary can be on the higher end of the range or more.
