How else could we honor the Spirit of March Madness at Legends?
-With Beer, Of Course!This Spring, we put two of our Legendary Draft Lines up for grabs as we welcome local breweries from all over the state to compete in a depletion challenge!
We made the playing field even by choosing one beer style: The India Pale Ale.
We made the price simple, All Beers will pour at $6.00
We even decided that all these brews belong uniformly in pints!
In the effect of comradery, we are encouraging political beer lobbying, as well as barroom banter!
We have already decided amongst the top eight Breweries, now it is your turn!
Simply put, The Brewery with the most beers poured wins!
Schedule of Events!
Thursday, March 16 – Sunday, March 19
Preliminary Seeding
St. patty’s Weekend will act as the Seeding Time Frame. No Breweries shall be eliminated during this period, although total pours will account for the bracket seeding starting March 20.Monday, March 20 – Sunday, March 26
Quarterfinals
Based on the Seeding from the previous weekend, breweries will be paired off, and Head-to-Head victory will decide advancement.Monday, March 27 – Sunday, April 2
Semifinals
The Brackets will be reseeded based on total depletion from March 16. The Final Four Breweries will be paired off, and Head-to-Head victory will decide advancement.Monday, April 3 – Sunday, April 9
Finals
The last Two Breweries Standing Will Compete for the Championship. No Holds Barred. We Will Stay open until the last drop is consumed if necessary.Monday, April 10
The Crowning of our NJ Craft Madness Champion!Two Draft Lines will be Reserved for the winning brewery through September 1st, 2017
