Somerset: On February 4, starting at 5PM, the Shades Apart x Jersey Cyclone x NJCB collaboration beer is being release in the Cyclone tasting room. Here’s the information you need to know.
One starry night just like tonight when the NJCB x Jersey Cyclone x Shades Apart beer collaboration is ready to be released. This beer is a big stout perfect for cold nights under a streetlight.
Who’s Shades Apart? Somerset County native power punk rock band since 1988. Mark, Kevin and Ed have been playing music in all sorts of venues all over the country for over 30 years. You can read more about Shades Apart on Wikipedia.
Now, that’s where NJCB loops this all together. Shades Apart has been one of Mike (NJCB)’s favorite bands ever so why not do a Somerset County collab and name it after a Shades Apart song. Starry Night is just that. Since Jersey Cyclone is one of the breweries that exists because of NJCB and they are in Somerset Co, why not tie this all together. It’s our (early) Valentine’s present to you.
Here’s how the beer release will work. The beer is coming out for sale on February 4 at Jersey Cyclone. It will be on draft for samples and in bottles. Bottle purchases will grant you access to the live full band concert in the Jersey Cyclone tasting room in the spring. More on the show date to be determined in the not so distant future. Stay tuned for that.
On February 4 when the bottles are released, we’ll have a Shades Apart playlist curated by the band playing in the tasting room and maybe some guest appearances drinking Starry Night with you including Team NJCB and Mark, Kevin and Ed. Rumor is they may bring their acoustic instruments for a few songs.
