Ryan from Cancer Support Community of Greater Philadelphia said on Sunday, October 14 from 12:00 pm to 03:00 pm
Pints in the Park is a casual beer tasting event located at the Ridgeland Mansion in Fairmount Park. Attendees of the event receive a two ounce tasting glass and free reign from 12-3PM to visit participating breweries to taste and discuss beer, partake from food truck vendors, socialize, and enjoy a Fall afternoon in the park, while helping a good cause in its mission. All proceeds of the event go directly to the CSCGP.
The Cancer Support Community of Greater Philadelphia is a non-profit organization that provides free social, emotional, and educational support to those going through cancer treatment, their family and friends, as well as those who have lost someone to cancer. With primary locations in Philadelphia and Warminster serving the greater Philadelphia area, the organization relies on grants, donations, and fundraisers to operate, and support from our local businesses is crucial to help us make sure no one faces cancer alone. Tickets are $50 per person and designated driver tickets are $10 a person.
As of date, participating breweries are: Conshohocken Brewing, Goose Island Philly, Imprint Brewing, Moss Mill, Naked Brewing, Philadelphia Brewing, River Horse Brewing, Sly Fox, Stirling Pig, and Urban Village.
Come drink some great beers and help raise money for a great cause!
