TITLE:​ Head Brewer

OBJECTIVE:​ Stun and amaze consumers with four simple ingredients: water, malt,
hops and yeast.

BACKGROUND:​ Royal Bine Brewing Co., slated to open in Fall of 2020, is based in Absecon, New Jersey – just a hop, skip and a jump away from historic Atlantic City. RBBC is in search of an experienced Brewer who is looking to take on a project of his/her own. The Royal Bine team is currently comprised of a dynamic owner, seasoned salesperson, marketing guru, taproom manager, and bookkeeper who are each enthusiastic about watching this long-time dream approach fruition. A prideful craftsman with tenacity, great knowledge of the brewing process, an understanding of the NJ craft beer market, and the ability to work well with a passionate team is our only missing link.

The ideal candidate is an individual who is confident in his/her efforts to produce products that are unique to the immediate area. Seeking an open-minded personality who is willing to commit to a minimum of three (3) years developing the Royal Bine brand. The selected Head Brewer will be entrusted with creative freedom and asked for input pertaining to equipment, brewhouse design, and ingredient selection during and after the rigorous, yet exciting planning phase. In search of a long-term team member!

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
❏ Manage all aspects of brewhouse (crafting original recipes, brewing, scheduling, maintaining equipment, ordering inventory, assisting with packaging, staffing, etc.)
❏ Regulate inventory needs and storage control of raw materials, finished products, and supplemental materials (i.e. barrels for aging)
❏ Work well with sales and marketing teams to maintain an appropriate production pace

Royal Bine Brewing Co. Seeking Head Brewer
❏ Ability to represent brand at outside events, festivals, conferences, etc. as needed
❏ Maintain quality assurance with each recipe

REQUIREMENTS:
❏ Minimum of five (5) years verifiable experience working in a production brewing facility
❏ Prefered experience with system of 10+ barrels in capacity
❏ Knowledge of brewing science, yeast handling and propagation
❏ Clear understanding of functioning brewhouse operations
❏ Strong organizational and communication skills
❏ Ability and willingness to work independently and with others as needed
