SRI Discount Liquors in South Plainfield recently emailed me with info about their growler station. They have 14 taps and so far the list is small with just Ommegang 3 Phils, Victory Golden Monkey and Stone IPA. They are currently running specials on 8 of the draft beers. $9.99 for 64 oz growlers and $5 growler bottle refundable deposit. I’m not sure what that means, but I’m trying to find out.
SRI is a fairly new place but it’s located at 6001 Hadley Road in South Plainfield. It’s in the Middlesex Mall and they can be reached at 732-309-6666 for more questions.
Hmm, good to know. Not far from Oak Tree. Competition is always a good thing because Oak Tree definitely doesn't have the most competitive pricing, but does have the best selection. I'm curious what their craft beer inventory is like, I shall have to check it out!
