Join the Foodshed Alliance at Mohawk House in Sparta, NJ where Chef Ken Salmon, executive chef of the Mohawk House along with guest Chef Kirk Avondoglio of Perona Farms prepare dinner for a Harvest Farm-to-Fork celebration that incorporates locally-grown foods into their creations
The “Harvest Festival” celebration is made even more unique by the participation of Stone Brewery. Stone Brewery is known by craft beer enthusiasts around the world for their award-winning, over the top, aggressively hopped brews, and the emphasis they place on enjoying their products at their optimum level of freshness. Rare “hard to find” brews will be paired with each course and the company’s vice president will be on hand to discuss the process. An optional wine pairing from New Jerseys Ventimiglia Vineyard will be available as well.
The Farm-to-Fork event features an evening of FIVE delicious courses plus passed hors d’oeuvres and entertainment which benefits the Foodshed Alliance; a grassroots, non-profit organization devoted to promoting locally-grown food and farming through community outreach, education and events like this.
Live entertainment throughout the evening.
Food for this event will be sourced from farmers from the Blairstown and Sparta Farmers’ Markets.
