I recently was told about a fairly new craft beer restaurant called Spot Pizza Grill. There are two locations, Point Pleasant and Toms River. In Point, the address is 1506 Richmond Ave and in Toms River at 1426 Lakewood Road. The Point location has a bunch of craft beer including the following current lineup. Got an email from the owner of Jack’s in Long Branch. While I haven’t been there myself yet, I’ve heard good things and here’s what the email said. We installed a killer draft beer system in sept. I now have over 50 beers on tap. We have a Beer Tap Ice Tower as well. I have no idea what the Ice Tower is but sounds good unless the beers are supposed to be served room

I’ve been to Big Ed’s BBQ in the Old Bridge / Matawan border a few times recently. I went for the BBQ but the beer selection is pretty good too. I was impressed that it wasn’t the typical macros, but some locals and season drafts. There is Flying Fish, Sierra Nevada, Sam Adams and more. Of course you won’t find that published ANYWHERE. Their site doesn’t say anything about beer except that the B word
