Taproom Release of Duck Sauce IPA

Belmar: Taproom Release of Test Dept.™ Duck Sauce IPA – very limited is happening at Beach Haus Brewery

John from Beach Haus Brewery said on Friday, June 15 from 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Back in 2009 after one of our countless brew session in the garage our brewmaster threatened to make an IPA using the Duck Sauce packets we had collected from dozens of afternoon chinese food runs we made throughout the years. We laughed at the time…but this Friday he is actually making true on his word!

Introducing Test Dept.™ Duck Sauce IPA!
A classic English Style IPA aged on many little packets of Duck Sauce along with pineapple and apricot.

ABV: 6.7%
IBU: 58

The extended aging on the duck sauce, pineapple and apricot creates a re-fermentation so the finish is surprisingly dry and a little tart. Faint notes of fruit can be detected just on top of the Galena, Cascade, Columbus and Horizon hops used in the boil and for dry hopping.

Pours a deep orange ( as a good duck sauce should) with a tight white head.

This is a VERY LIMITED run so no left-overs for you!
