I recently got an email from our friends at Ho-Ho-Kus Inn. Here’s the Oktoberfest info.
The Ho-Ho-Kus Inn & Tavern will kick off Oktoberfest on Monday, September 26 with a special menu and offer an array of Oktoberfest beers to mark the beginning of this traditional Bavarian celebration that began in 1810 when King Ludwig married Princess Therese in Munich, Germany. Now celebrated globally, Chef Bryan Gregg will be preparing an Oktoberfest menu that includes Chaucroute Garne, an Alsatian disk of pork with Sauerkraut and potatoes with apples and cooked in Riesling. Oktoberfest beers, which will include Sam Adams Oktoberfest, Summit Brewing Oktoberfest and a special seasonal brew from our house brewery, Cricket Hill, are offered in the Oktoberfest Dinner package, which is priced at $39.00 per person. The event will be held in the Tavern and on the Inn’s outside bluestone patio (weather permitting) and begins at 6 pm.
The Ho-Ho-Kus Inn is located at 1 East Franklin Turnpike in Ho-Ho-Kus and keep in mind that NJCB Members can save 10% off your entire bill!
