June 25, at the Twin Light Taphouse in Highlands is our next big event and it’s this coming Saturday!
Big things are coming, we promise. NJCB and Twin Light Taphouse have been working round the clock to bring you guys a great time. $10 bucks gets you in the door and 1 free beer, straight from a freshly tapped firkin. The Blue Point Brewery Dry Hopped Hopitcal Illusion firkin is not all it you’ll be sipping. With that cover charge, you’ll get to experience a variety of delicious food for a special NJCB party price and even more, beer specials all day long. There are more than 20 bottles and cans to select from also and a full wine and liquor list as well.
Here’s the beer list as of June 20.
Ommegang – Gnomegang
Dogfish Head – Theobroma
Sierra Nevada – Beer Camp Series Hop Smack Double Black IPA, made by local Joe Boyle of Boyle’s Tavern of Monmouth Beach
Weyerbacher – 16th Anniversary Ale
Blue Point Brewery – Dry Hopped Hoptical Illusion firkin (included in entrance fee)
Cricket Hill – Small Batch Series Belgian Dubbel. First keg in the entire state. Will be released elsewhere after July 1. Draft ONLY!
THERE WILL ALSO BE A FEW OTHER SPECIALTIES THAT YOU HAVE TO SHOW UP TO FIND OUT WHAT THEY ARE. Trust me! Rhymes with “another firkin!”
Here’s the fun part. For those who pay $10 to drink a great beer, you’ll get specials each hour on the other drinks so you have to stay all day to experience everything.
Party starts at 2 and runs til, well, it’s the summer, the party doesn’t stop til September. Let’s start it off together and join us at 3PM sharp for the tapping of the firkin! There will be a few giveaways courtesy of NJCB as well. The live music starts at 8PM! Come early and stay all day!
Music, food, craft beer and right near the water, how can you go wrong? RSVP on Facebook and leave some comments below too!
Twin Light Taphouse is located at 128 Bay Avenue in Highlands a few blocks off of Route 36.
