Natalie from Weyerbacher will be hosting a beer dinner at Maloney’s on Friday May 20. A special menu will be paired with some of the following brews: Verboten, Double Simcoe, Heresy, Quad, Blanche, Slam Dunkel, Merry Monks and Blithering Idiot.
First Course
Baby spinach salad with goat cheese, candied nuts and dried figs, tossed in a blueberry vinaigrette, paired with Weyerbacher Blanche, Witbier, 5%
Second Course
Jumbo shrimp, stuffed with chives and horseradish, wrapped in apple wood bacon, and glazed with honey and citrus, paired with Weyerbacher Verboten, 5.9%, Belgian Pale Ale
Third Course
Slow-roasted BBQ Pork and fresh coleslaw, served on jalapeno cornbread, paired with Weyerbacher Fireside, 7.5%, smoked beer
Fourth Course
Chipolte marinated New York strip steak served with peppers, onions, and a roasted tomato salsa, served with sauteed spinach, roasted potatoes, and queso fresco, paired with Weyerbacher Double Simcoe I.P.A., 9%, Imperial I.P.A.
Fifth Course
Triple chocolate fudge brownie topped with vanilla bean ice cream and fresh whipped cream and drizzled with chocolate, paired with Weyerbacher Old Heathen, 8%, Russian Imperial Stout
