JUNE 2014 EVENTS

Tuesday, 6/3 at 6pm

Philly Beer Week “Weyerbacher Night at UNO’s Maple Shade, NJ.”  On Tap: Quad, Heresy, Blithering Idiot, Merry Monks, Big Ern’s IPA, Old Heathen, Double Simcoe, Brewer’s Select Canes Venitici ‘Maibock,’ and Tarte Nouveau.

 

Wednesday, 6/4 at 6pm

Philly Beer Week “Weyerbacher Tap Takeover at UNO’s Hamilton, NJ”  On Tap: Tiny, Tango, Tarte Nouveau, Brewer’s Select ‘Camelopardalis’ and ‘Canes Venitici,” 18th Anniversary, Viridis Lupulus IPA, Sunday Morning Stout, Bourbon Imperial Pumpkin, Heresy, Insanity, Quad, Big Ern’s IPA, White Sun Wit, Merry Monks, Blithering Idiot, Old Heathen, Double Simcoe, and a firkin of a “special Merry Monks.”

Thursday, 6/12 at 6pm

WEYERBACHER BEER DINNER at Rat’s Restaurant, Ground’s For Sculpture, Hamilton Twp., NJ.   Join Chef Scott Swiderski and his culinary team as they prepare a boldly flavored four-course dinner with hors d’ouevres to pair with the full-bodied beers of Pennsylvania’s esteemed Weyerbacher Brewing Company.  $85 plus tax and gratuity. Weyerbacher Beer Dinner at Tapestre in Somerville, NJ.  6:30pm seating, 7pm start, $55 per person RSVP: 908-526-0505

First course

Spiced MelonCarpaccio

     Crispy prosciutto, mixed herbs

Paired with White Sun Wit

Second course

Baby Greens Salad

    Poached peaches, shaved fennel, red onion, toasted hazelnuts, white balsamic vinaigrette

Paired with Verboten

 

Third course

Spicy IPA Bouillabaise 

    Scallops, shrimp, clams, and monkfish in a spicy fresh chili saffron broth, with rouille on grilled crostini

Paired with Double Simcoe IPA

 

Fourth course

Molasses Marinated Pork Tenderloin

    Confit mixed marble fingerling potatoes, demi-glace, braised local greens

Paired with Quad

 

Fifth course

Bourbon Espresso Molted Chocolate Cake

    Vanilla bean whipped cream, bourbon butterscotch sauce

Paired with Heresy

 

Thursday, 6/19 at 6pm

Weyerbacher Night at Sol Cantina in Branchburg, NJ.  On tap: Brewer’s Select Canes Venitici ‘Maibock,’  Quad, Heresy, Last Chance IPA, Merry Monks, Blithering Idiot, Double Simcoe, and Verboten.

 

Sunday, 6/22 from 7:30-9:30pm

Joe Canals Lawrencville in store Beer Fest.  Specialty kegs on the growler station and brewery tasting booths throughout the store!

 

Wednesday, 6/25 at 6pm

Weyerbacher Feature Night at Winberies in Princeton, NJ.  On tap: 2013 Quad, White Sun Wit, Last Chance IPA, and maybe 19th Anniversary if it’s ready!

Sunday, 6/29 from 7:30-9:30pm

Joe Canals Iselin Beer in store Beer Fest.  Specialty kegs on the growler station and brewery tasting booths throughout the store!
